How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice

To file a DMCA notice, please provide the following information in writing:

Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, you may provide a representative list.

Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on Thefirmo, including the URL or direct link where possible.

Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete, inaccurate, or fraudulent notices may not be processed.

How Thefirmo Responds to DMCA Notices

After receiving a complete and valid DMCA notice, Thefirmo may take one or more of the following actions:

Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.

Notify the contributor, user, or party responsible for the content, where appropriate.

Review the claim to determine whether additional action is needed.

Maintain a record of the notice and related actions.

Thefirmo may also decline to act on notices that are incomplete, abusive, fraudulent, unclear, or not legally sufficient.

Counter-Notification Policy

If your content was removed or disabled because of a DMCA notice, and you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification.

Your counter-notification should include:

Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.

Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court, where required by applicable law.

A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice or their authorized agent, where required by applicable law.

Repeat Infringers

Thefirmo reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access for users, contributors, or partners who repeatedly infringe copyright or violate intellectual property rights.

Thefirmo may also reject future submissions from contributors who repeatedly submit infringing material or fail to respect copyright standards.

False or Misleading Claims

Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent DMCA notices or counter-notifications may have legal consequences.

Before submitting a claim, please make sure you are the copyright owner or are legally authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

We encourage parties to resolve disputes in good faith whenever possible.
